Summer Maintenance Tips

When you look over your vehicle, the first thing that you will want to do is check the A/C system. After all, who wants to spend the summer inside a hot vehicle. Be sure that there is cool air blowing out of each vent. Also, be sure to check the cabin air filter. This should be changed every 12 months. After you are done with the A/C system, check the coolant level. You don’t want to risk having your vehicle overheat at the worst possible time. Also, be sure to turn on your vehicle and check the temperature level. Next, you should inspect your vehicle’s tires. You will want to check the tread depth of each tire and ensure that it is at least 2/32 inches thick. After that, ensure that each tire's pressure level is within normal range. Now that the tires are done, you will want to inspect the exterior lights. Ensure that the headlights, tail lights, and fog lights are properly lubricated. Now is it time to check the battery. After all, you don’t want to get stuck on the side of the road with no charge getting to your vehicle’s electronic systems. Finally, be sure to inspect the engine. In particular, look at the hoses, PCV valve, and engine air filter.
